Trinity Peacemakers , broadly speaking, are the people who make up the Peacemaking Committee for Trinity Presbytery , located in central South Carolina, USA.
Trinity Peacemakers are all people who are active in Christian churches affiliated with the Presbyterian (USA) denomination. Though we are all Presbyterians, we speak and act as individuals and not as official representatives of the Presbyterian (USA) church.
Trinity Peacemakers serve others by working in activities that help bring peace and justice to central South Carolina:
- free medical clinics,
- environmental education,
- homeless shelters,
- soup kitchens,
- migrant ministries,
- prayer vigils,
- Bible studies,
- fundraising,
- writing letters to the editor,
- mothers morning out programs,
- international relief programs,
- food banks,
- emergency assistance for families,
- prison ministries
- … the list is almost endless, because …
The possibilities for service are as unlimited and diverse as the people called to serve.
We created this blog for the purpose of networking, sharing, information, learning, discussion, and opportunity to participate in service projects related to peace and social justice.
Would you like to learn more or become involved? We welcome you to join our activities and our network! If you are drawn to our group but you are not Christian, or not Presbyterian, we also welcome you to join us in an informal capacity. Dialogue is always good!
